DESCRIPTION

JBS-1 is a military-quality portable battery power source. Its primary use is in assisting of starting all kinds of vehicles or aircraft with either 12V or 24V battery system voltage. It can also be used as a DC power supply for powering various equipment with 12V or 24V voltage. The unit contains a built-in automatic battery charger which can be powered from almost any AC source found in the field or depot.

 

The JBS-1 Power Source consists of the following parts which can be ordered individually or together:

FEATURES

  • Jump Starting
    The unit contains two military-quality heavy-duty batteries which are connected either for 12V or 24V operation. This battery power is available at the end of the jumper leads for connection to the vehicle battery.
  • DC Power Sourcing
    The unit has a two-pole socket on the front panel which can be used to provide 12V or 24V from the batteries to external equipment.
  • Charging
    The unit has a built-in automatic battery charger. This charger is powered from an AC source via a connector at the rear of the unit.
