DESCRIPTIONThe JVS-1 is a compact, ruggedised, variable-output remotely-controlled AC power supply designed to serve primarily as an incandescent light dimmer. FEATURESJVS-1 main features are continuous output voltage adjustment, no phase- of high frequency switching with resulting near-zero EMI. The method used is a motor-driven variable transformer (Variac). APPLICATIONSThe JVS-1 Power Supply has been designed to operate with maximum reliability to MIL-SPEC requirements in Naval tactical environments. Full protection against short-circuited output and overload provides both security and simplicity of operation.
This extremely reliable power supply is suitable for fixed or mobile military applications, because of its ability to withstand the high shock, vibration and temperature conditions
